on foods to eat.
never heard of most of this.
she said she grew up eating food like this, that it is good to satisfy your hunger without eating a lot of meat.
1. banana sandwich
-1a. banana and mayo on bread.
i guess she meant white bread. but she just said nothing fancy like rye. so maybe wheat bread would be ok. i dono. this is the main one she told me about then mentioned a couple variations. not sure i'd like this one.
-1b. banana and peanut butter.
basically like above but add only a little pb. dont remember if you put mayo in too.
-1c. banana and pb like elvis.
basically banana and pb but grilled. she said she wasnt sure if elvis put butter or mayo on it.
2. mashed potatoes with mayo.
youre supposed to mix mayo in it. sounds good to me.
3. tomato gravy and sausage with biscuits.
the tomato gravy part is about making a white gravy, mixing in some diced tomatoes or whatever.
the sausage and biscuits part was a little confusing.
i think at first she was saying to mix in some sausage into the gravy, and then eating that gravy with a good biscuit or cornbread.
then at the end it sounded like she was saying to make the tomato gravy without sausage. then put the gravy inside of or on top of a sausage biscuit sandwich.
the tomato gravy part by itself is pretty interesting, i think.
